About Me

Welcome to Atlanta Developmental Consultants. My name is David Alexander and I have been dedicated to consulting and counseling individuals, families, and children in the Atlanta metropolitan area since 1985.

My expertise centers around counseling and guiding individuals and families through significant life transitions, including divorce, family conflict, and the challenges faced raising children, teens and young adults as they navigate life, school, graduation, and life beyond academics. I also specialize in addressing issues related to relocations, intrusive medical and mental health diagnoses, parent-child conflicts, co-parenting conflicts, and the development of effective parenting plans.

In 2020, I transitioned my practice from working primarily in-person out of an office and playroom in Buckhead to now working primarily through virtual consultations, utilizing Telehealth  conferencing. I continue to offer in-person visits at homes, outdoor parks, professional practice groups, religious institutions, and schools, ensuring that my services can be accessible and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and family.i
